Set up a dedicated Instagram account
Create a brand-new Instagram account used exclusively for this program. Don't use your personal account. No TikTok this time, Instagram is the only platform you post on.
Username rules, please follow exactly
- Pick a handle that sounds like a real creator: natural, personal, easy to say out loud. Examples:
@editswithananya,@riyaedits,@createwithrohan,@framesbyneha,@aiwitharjun. - Lowercase, no dots or underscores, no numbers. Keep it clean.
- Profile picture: clean and on-brand. A clean desk or tech-setup aesthetic works best.
- Fill the bio out like a creator would. One line about what you post, nothing about an agency or a program.
- Don't put "picsart" in the handle. The account should read as an independent creator, not a brand account.
- Don't use random numbers or symbols, such as
@user_2891. It looks like a bot. - Don't reuse a handle from your existing personal accounts.
- Don't make the account private. It stays public throughout the program.
Warm up your account (3 to 5 days)
Before you post anything, spend 3 to 5 days warming the account up. This trains the algorithm to send your content to the right audience and keeps you from being flagged as a new or spam account.
Each day, log in for 15 to 25 minutes and naturally follow accounts and engage with content across all four niches below. Mix it up, don't only follow one type.
Indian tech creators
Creators reviewing apps, gadgets and phone tricks for an Indian audience, in English or Hindi.
Photo & video editing
Editing tutorials, before-and-after transformations, transitions and reel-editing tricks.
Content creators & reels
Indian creators sharing how they shoot, edit and grow: creator tips, aesthetics, trends.
AI tools & apps
Creators testing AI apps, AI image and video tools, and "apps you didn't know you needed."
Daily warm-up actions (do all of these)
- Follow a minimum of 20 new accounts (mix of all 4 niches)
- Like 20 to 30 posts across the niches
- Leave 5 to 10 thoughtful comments, not just emojis
- Save 3 to 5 posts to a collection
- Watch 3 to 4 reels all the way through
- Stay on-app for 15 to 25 minutes total
Keywords to feed the algorithm
Search these in-app, watch the results all the way through, and like or save a few. Instagram uses your search history to decide what to recommend you next, so flood it with AI, tech and photo- and video-editing content that matches the niche you'll be posting into.
Post once a day
Once you're warmed up, you start posting. One talking-head video a day, every day. That's a minimum of 30 unique videos a month, all on Instagram.
Reference videos, watch these before you film
These show the style we're after. Use them for tone, pacing and how Picsart is shown on screen, then make it your own.
The shape of a good one. Four beats, 15 to 45 seconds, vertical 9:16.
First 1 to 2 seconds. The problem, the frustration or the claim that makes someone stop.
What you were trying to make, and why the usual way is slow or painful.
Show it working. The prompt, the edit coming together, the moment it clicks.
What you ended up with and what it saved you. Land it in your own words.
Do
- Talk to camera the way you talk to your audience. Conversational, not presented.
- Open with the hook in the first 1 to 2 seconds.
- Show Picsart in use: the screen, the edit, the moment of "oh, this is faster."
- Keep videos vertical, 9:16, 15 to 45 seconds.
- Shoot in soft, clean light with audio you can actually hear.
- Caption with 1 line plus 5 to 10 relevant hashtags.
- Submit each idea on SideShift first, even small twists.
Don't
- Don't post anything not approved on SideShift.
- Don't post two near-identical videos in the same day. Vary the hook and the angle.
- Don't say Picsart does everything for you or that you'll never need another editing app again.
- Don't promise a specific time saved, and don't imply the output needs no editing.
- Don't mention features you haven't shown on screen.
- Don't bash competitor tools by name.
- Don't make medical, financial or legal claims.
- Don't use copyrighted music outside Instagram's library.
- Don't show personal or identifying info such as emails and addresses.
